Our History
Ultra Paws® was founded in 1998 by dog lovers who saw a need for better protective footwear for dogs. At the time, most dog boots were cheaply made and fell apart quickly. As avid hikers and outdoor enthusiasts, our founders knew dogs needed shoes that could withstand rugged terrain and extensive use.
After months of research and testing, our team designed a completely new type of dog boot using the highest quality materials and construction methods. The result was our first product, the Original Ultra Paws® Durable Dog Boot. It was an immediate hit with active dog owners thanks to its tough 1000 denier nylon shell and rugged anti-slip sole.

Mark is one of our original founders and the entrepreneurial force behind Ultra Paws®. He combines a business savvy mind with a deep love of dogs. Mark oversees operations, new products, and the company’s strategic vision. But he’s just as likely to be playing fetch with the office dogs!
Elizabeth – Product Development
Elizabeth guides new product design and materials research. She works closely with factories on prototypes, field-testing concepts with real dogs and owners. Elizabeth also listens to customer feedback to identify needs. Her background combines engineering, textiles, and animal science.
Jake – Marketing Director
Our Marketing Director Jake keeps Ultra Paws® at the forefront of consumer awareness through online content, social media, and collaborations with pet influencers. Jake is an athlete, dog trainer, and adventuresome spirit always game to test gear in extreme conditions!
Amanda – Customer Experience
Amanda leads our stellar customer support team – the voices of Ultra Paws® to our loyal fans! She ensures every customer has an excellent experience. Amanda also manages our brand ambassadors who share how our products empower active dogs worldwide.
Simon – Sales Director
Simon heads up our global sales team which introduces Ultra Paws® products into more retail locations each year. He establishes relationships with new distributors and ensures retailers have the knowledge to match customers with the right dog boots and shoes.
Sue – Controller
Sue expertly manages the financial and accounting aspects of Ultra Paws® as our Controller. She ensures our company stays financially strong to keep innovating and growing. Sue also meticulously manages our product inventory and supply chain.

Our Factory
Ultra Paws® dog boots and shoes are proudly designed AND manufactured in the USA. Our factory is located in Massachusetts and employs skilled craftspeople with generations of shoe making expertise.
We work closely with our dedicated factory team to translate our innovative product designs into dependable, high performance footwear. State of the art equipment and techniques combine with experienced artisans to produce our unique dog boots, shoes, and socks.
